Whoa!
I feel like January has flown by….not mentioning, so much has happened this year already.
But! It’s a new year, and I wanted to start my blog out with a bang!
I had an idea for a new series that will take the entire year to complete. While I don’t typically participate in Disneybounding, I thought it would be fun to do a Disneybound of every princess but make is “Fashion.” I plan on doing one Princess per month. While I think there are technically thirteen Princesses, I count Elsa & Anna as one unit. To start the series off, I chose the first Princess I ever fell in love with, Ariel.
Long story short, The Little Mermaid came out in 1989, the year I was born. When it was time for me to be potty trained, the movie was on VHS (Raise your hand if you remember what those are lol). If I was able to go potty by myself, my parents let me watch the movie. According to them, I watched the movie all the time, like multiple times a day. I quoted it non stop (still can) and sang all the songs all the time. I had loads of Ariel merchandise and a stuffed Flounder that is still at my parents house. The Little Mermaid was the first Disney connection that I ever had, so logically it made sense to start this series with my very first Disney Princess.
WHAT I’M WEARING:
When I initially saw this dress, I thought it could be a fun whimsical take on Ariel. I paired it with some green tights from Amazon, and a pair of shell earrings I got from Forever 21 a few years ago.
