Kika Vargas x Target

Hi Dolls!

I’m breaking my “Halloween Only” content rule in order to talk about the latest Target Collaboration. If you weren’t aware, Target came out with their latest designer collaboration featuring three brands last Sunday. The designers are Kika Vargas, Sergio Hudson and La Ligne. Although I really like a lot of the pieces from all the designers, Kika Vargas really stood out to me. She a brand I have been following for many years. I normally see her pieces on the likes of Blair Eadie and at Nordstrom, but I have never pulled the trigger and purchased anything.

To be completely honest, I wasn’t going to buy anything because I’m on a spending freeze….but come on…it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that wasn’t going to last. So, Sunday morning, I ran to my local Target and grabbed the number one item I wanted from the collection. I purchased the Anemone Floral Mini Dress and I am wearing a size Large. I was immediately drawn to this piece when I first saw it. I love the print as well as the cut of it. I paired it with some platform sandals from Zara and a teal Tory Burch purse. I love this babydoll look so much.

Now, am I done shopping this collection? Probably not. Am I surprised that pieces are still available? Yes. Does it help my wallet? No. I really love the Scallop Edge trench coat and the Midnight Blue Puff Sleeve mini. But, only time will tell what else I end up getting. I’ll keep you guys posted!
