Diane von Furstenberg x Target

Hello Spring Peaches!

The weather is warming up and it’s time to bust out some new Spring fashion. As you all know, I love a good Target collaboration. The last one I posted was by Rowing Blazer x Target that came out last fall. For Spring 2024, Target came out with a banger! On March 23, they released a collaboration with the one and only Diane von Furstenberg….the creator of the iconic wrap dress and one of my all time favorite designers.

It’s no secret that when I first started making my own money, I begin spending it on designer goods. DVF was the first designer I ever purchased on my own, followed my Tory Burch. So, when I heard they were releasing a collection to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the wrap dress….I was so excited! At this point, I am a Target collab connoisseur. I mark all the items I want in the favorites folder before it launches. Periodically, throughout the weeks leading up to the release, I refine what I want (add and take away). Then when the collection launches, I am up at 3:00 am EST with my laptop and wallet ready to go. After I purchase the online exclusive pieces, I go then back to sleep (barely) and wake up at 6:00 am to head to my local Target that opens at 7:00 am. I did this exact routine for the DVF launch, and I even brought my best friend along for the ride.

I purchased a fair amount items, and unfortunately a lot of it is already sold out. However, I always suggest checking the websites and stores for returns. I have acquired missing “wants” that way as well. Below I have linked everything I purchased and two outfits I styled on launch day.

When the promos for the collection began appearing, I instantly feel in love with this green wrap set. After seeing it in person and feeling the quality of the knit pieces, I knew I had to add it to my closet. I am wearing a medium in both. I paired my look with these giant floral earring purchased from Zara. I can definitely see myself wearing this in Palm Beach strolling on Worth Avenue or have brunch at the Colony. It’s such a chic outfit!

To be honest, this workout set I hesitated on when I first saw. You guys know I love a good mixed print, so that wasn’t the issue. I actually don’t work out at the moment. Sorry to my trainer Greg, I haven’t been to the gym in several (over a year) months. So, what would I need this outfit for? Well, for justification, the weather is warming up and I am determined to get out my house and start enjoying life again. As I am writing this, Fiona and I are getting ready to go for a walk on the Atlanta Beltline. Since I am planning on getting more active again, I need to look cute doing it…right? Anyway, I love this set. Especially the “DVF” on the band of the bra. I don’t know if I would wear the vest with the leggings and sports bra regularly, but it looks kinda cool in photos.
