Little Debbie Summer

Hello, Peaches!

One of my favorite prints to wear during the summer is gingham. It seems like every year, I find myself adding more pieces in this classic pattern to my wardrobe. I adore gingham for spring and summer just as much as I love plaid for fall and winter—though, truthfully, I wear both prints year-round.

Another favorite of mine? A beautiful Selkie dress. I’ve been steadily growing my collection of these whimsical pieces, to the point where they now have their own dedicated rack in another room of my home. Most recently, Selkie launched an entire collection centered around gingham—and naturally, I couldn’t resist placing an order.

In the photos below, I’m wearing the Sailor Gingham Drama School Dress, and it’s absolutely charming. Do I resemble Little Debbie? Perhaps—but I like to think that just makes me a sweet snack! (Kidding… sort of.) Or maybe I’m channeling a pre-rainbow Dorothy—minus Toto, of course.

To complete the look, I styled the dress with classic white Keds sneakers, a straw hat from Urban Outfitters, and a straw bag from Amazon. I finished it off with a bold red lip for a pop of color. I’ve linked the dress below, along with a few of my favorite pieces from the collection.
