Under The Arches

Happy Friday!

It’s the final day of UGA Homecoming Week 2020, and I’m kinda sad. Even though this was a short trip (like 4 hours), I had so much fun. I definitely will be going back soon and hopefully take more pictures and make more memories. I thought it would be appropriate to end this series underneath the Arches. It’s a UGA symbol and I have walked around them numerous times. It’s tradition to not walk underneath until you graduate because if you do, you won’t graduate…or so folklore says. If you visit Athens during any semester, you’ll see thousands of students walking around them. It’s a really a sight to see. Since I graduated already, I hung out underneath them for as long as I wanted. I skipped, I ran and set up camp because I earned it lol.

Now let’s discuss fashion, before I get too sentimental. I found this top on a random trip to Target. I had never seen anything like it, and I immediately threw it in my cart! Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find it online it at all, and I haven’t seen it in Target since. I paired it with my J Crew Factory tartan pants I got last year and my Michael Kors oxfords. I think this a great look to wear around campus. It’s a little dressy but mostly casual. I ended up wearing this outfit the rest of the time and on the way home. In fact, I didn’t want to take it off.

I hope you guys enjoyed this little Homecoming series. UGA was such a huge part of my life and I wanted to share it on here. It was so much fun returning to Athens for the first time in nine years. As previously stated, I can’t wait to go back!
