50th Anniversary Princess

When I booked my Disney trip, I knew my main goal (besides running) was to do some special 50th Anniversary photoshoots in front of the castle. I booked my trip in September, purchased the dress in December (on sale) and began making my purse in January. Yes, that’s right. I made this Minnie 50th Anniversary purse myself. I’ll be sharing a reel on my Instagram showing my process soon.
I had a few people stop me and ask if I was dressed as Princess Tiana. Tiana wears green (duh), but I figured they saw a black girl in a Princess dress, they assumed Tiana….whatever. And a few other women said how much they loved my Selkie dress. I feel like any Disney Princess fan needs a Selkie dress. It is perfect for frolicking around the Magic Kingdom living your best Princess life. I have linked my outfit below.
As a Disney fan, getting to opportunity to go to Walt Disney World as often as I do is such a blessing. Especially since I know so many don’t have that chance. Going to Disney during the 50th Anniversary makes it even more special and I feel so lucky I got to experience the 50th magic.
