Hi Peaches and Happy Summer!

Antonio Melani, a brand sold exclusively at Dillards, has been collaborating with some well known fashion influencers for the past couple of years. Recently I got my hands on some pieces between them and fashion blogger Jennifer Sumko. To be honest, I had never heard of Jennifer until her collection started appearing on my instagram page, so I had to check it out. The aesthetics of this collection did not disappoint. I found it very hard to decipher what pieces I wanted to add to my closet. So, I settled on the below items.

FASHION

I purchased four pieces, two complete looks, from the collection. The first look is the all pink linen set with scalloped edges. I paired this look with LoveShackaFancy earrings and J Crew espadrilles. However, the one thing I would change about this entire outfit is the material. Linen is so unpractical in a lot of ways. With linen, the minute you sit down, you wrinkle all up. I was so wrinkly, it was almost embarrassing to walk around. I spent more time editing out wrinkles then I did actually wearing the outfit. This set comes in another print with shells and I think it would have been better because the creases and folds wouldn’t have shown so much.

I next outfit I purchased was the pearl swimsuit and matching pearl jacket. I love love love this look. Never in my life would I have considered a swim jacket…hell I didn’t even know it was a thing. I paired my swimsuit with my favorite green Lele Sadoughi x Stoney Clover Lane headband, for a all green/pearl look. I promise you this look is a guaranteed compliment because it’s so unique and so beautiful and classic. This bright green is one of my favorite colors and I definitely need more pieces in it.
